t/gate advise

hi there guys my tail gate is not closeing unless its slamed shut anybody know how to adjust thankyou john:hissyfit: :angry2:

Hi, The strike plate has a couple of torx screws holding it in place. Check the tightness and whether there has been movement of the plate. The lock itself imay also be loose so check that for security of fitting and movment.. Had to think twice but I think you can adjust either to get it right, but it may be best to adjust the plate... Des. . . ;)

Des says right!! Usually the catch on the sill needs to be repositioned and retightened. Take care and only move it outwards by a small amount. All the best, Peter. :car-smiley-031:
