Reaper inconsistent Peak reading (SOLVED)

MessageAuthor

Hi! I'm using Reaper 4.25 in Windows XP 32 bit. I have inconsistent peak reading as shown in this video: The same part of the track which has peak over 0 dB, looped back a few times, the peak reading always different, ranging from +0.5 dB to +1.2 dB. Record monitoring was off. Any fix for this bug? Or is it caused by plug-ins? I have several fx in that track, including Oxford limiter. Thanks!

Ok got it, it's the Oxford limiter Auto Gain that caused this inconsistency, turned it off, and now it is consistent :) Not Reaper bug. tx!
