About Ableton Live 8 and Reaper......

Ableton Live shows up as a rewire instrument in Reaper's FX. When I click on it, the rewire routing screen shows up, but not Ableton itself. I click on "show panel", but nothing happens. Does anybody have any suggestions of how to remedy this?

You will have to Start Ableton separately, once started Reaper will find it and they will be connected through Rewire. Be sure to close/disable the Ableton FX after you close Ableton otherwise Reaper will start chewing up a lot of CPU searching for Ableton.

OK, thank you, I did get Ableton to show up. Next question: The latency when playing any of the Live instruments is way late. Is there a fix for that, or do you just record in Ableton first, or something?
